CREATE@PGVP
Our School has always wanted to provide a collaborative work space inside the school for activities that use technologies. CREATE@PGVP is a place for students and staff to engage in making, collaborating, learning and sharing ideas.

CREATE@PGVP aims to:
1. Provide learning space and opportunities for students' learning, coding, and providing possibilities for students to design and collaborate with each other which are aligned to PGVP MESCAP outcomes (see below for the screenshot of our 6 MESCAP).
2. Develop our students to be Confident Learners and Active Citizens.
3. Demonstrate curiosity and passion when they tinker and make, using Critical and Inventive Thinking Skills, learning to use 3D pen, coding and design prototypes with Strawbees/Plus Plus etc during recesses.

Our school’s CREATE@PGVP programme works closely with the CIT team in crafting challenge thinking questions. This encourages students to empathise, design, prototype and create real-world solutions, strengthening 21st Century Competencies like Adaptive Thinking, Inventive Thinking and Communication.
We have collaborated with our school’s eco stewardship@pgvp, to encourage donation of recyclable materials to be used for the activities in CREATE@PGVP. We have also educated our students to reuse the recyclable materials for their prototypes and promote sustainability in our CREATE@PGVP programme.
CREATE@PGVP Learning Journey for Educators
We have organised a Learning Journey for Makers Community Members on 22 September 2023. We have shared with them on the CREATE@PGVP Recess Programme and the intent of setting up Makerspace in school. CREATE@PGVP provides learning with Critical and Inventive Thinking Skills. Students learn 3D pen, coding and Strawbees during level recess. The possibilities for students to design and collaborate are aligned to Punggol View Primary MESCAP outcomes. PGVP aims to develop students to be Confident Learners and Active Citizens.
